│ LC3 (L0phtCrack 3) is a password auditing and recovery tool for
│
│ Windows 2000 and Windows NT. LC3 uses a variety of sources and
│
│ methods to retrieve passwords from the operating system, and │
│ provides feedback about the strength of passwords based on the │
│ types of audit required to recover the password and the length │
│ of time required to do so. The end result is a state of the art │
│ tool for password auditing and recovery that serves to guide │
│ organizational policies and procedures. │

│ How to use the KeyGen: │
│ ---------------------- │
│ │
│ Launch LC3. Then click "Register" button on Trial dialog. Now,
│
│ a Register dialog should appear. Run the KeyGen, it should show │
│ the same Serial Number as the Register dialog. If not, just │
│ copy and paste it from LC3. │
│ Click "generate", the Unlock Code should be entered in Register
│
│ dialog automatically. If not, do it yourself! │
